Fundraising comes from a variety of sources. The Home and School Association sponsors several activities that may change from year to year. All families are expected to contribute to the success of a minimum of one fund raising drive and volunteer to work bingo. See VOLUNTEER PROGRAM.

The Home and School Association sponsors major fundraising efforts that directly affect tuition. Please give these activities your full support. See the Back to School Packet for this year’s plans. The school sponsors many smaller fundraising drives a year. Money generated by these efforts are used to enhance instruction. Please choose one to support wholeheartedly.

Weekly Bingo
St. John's School is hosting Bingo every Sunday evening. Bingo is a vital fundraiser for St. John’s School. Doors open at 5 p.m. at the Monsignor Harris Center, with games starting at 6. The jackpot will be $1,000 (or more!) in 54 numbers. Dinner and other refreshments will be available. Call 301-373-2281 for more information. Playground & Recreation Fields Fundraiser
St. John's Parish & School has started a new initiative that centers on building partnerships with area businesses. The initial phase of this initiative is to raise funding to complete our playground and update the surrounding fields. Over 100 local businesses received a personal plea from Father Ray to sign on as a corporate sponsor for this effort. As a thank you to those companies, their names will be engraved on brick pavers and will be placed near the playground. While this particular effort is aimed at our local businesses; parishioners and school families are welcome to participate as well. As of now, this project is on hold - Under Revision due to Renovation
