The following tuition rates are effective for the 2012-2013 school year.

Catholic Rate - Per Child:
Tuition Rate $4,990.00

Non-Catholic Rate - Per Child:
Tuition Rate $6,090.00


Please note that the Book Fee is NOT included in the amounts listed above. The Book Fee is $125 per child. Book fees must be charged separately from tuition to meet requirements for Maryland State textbook funding.

Additional Fees (Students participating in band, basketball or cheerleading)

Athletic Fee: $50.00 per child
Band Fee: $400.00 per child (due by Sept. 6, 2012)

The annual tuition payment for the 2012-2013 school year is to be paid by July 13, 2012.
Monthly payments (through FACTS) are paid in 10 installments from August 2012 to May 2013.
Semester payments (through FACTS) are paid in 2 installments: September 2012 and February 2013.

There is also a $50.00 per child registration fee due at the time of application for registration.

The above fees are contingent upon completing 6 Bingos and 15 hours of volunteer service per family per year. Please contact the school office (301-373-2142) if you have questions concerning registration and/or tuition.

Financial Policy
Tuition rates, conditions, and payment plans are published in the spring for the following school year. Additional school-related expenses may also be applied to your account.

Tuition Policy Statement
In accordance with the Archdiocesan Board of Education, St. John's School reserves the right to cancel the registration of any student whose family fails to satisfactorily meet tuition payments. Said school reserves the right to withhold a student's school records until the school has received all payments. Please call the parish bookkeeper at 301-373-2281 if you have any questions regarding tuition payments.

All Other Payments
The preferred method of payment is always by check. Please be sure to have checks made payable to St. John’s and enclose them in an envelope with your child’s name, grade, purpose and the amount on the outside. When it is necessary to send cash, also place it in a sealed envelope with the same information.
