St. John’s Aftercare Program (in the Art room) provides a schedule of supervised play, snack time, and occasionally a craft time. Time is also allotted for children to begin their homework. Depending on the amount of time your child/ren are in the program, all homework may not be completed by pick-up time.

SJS Aftercare Program runs each day from 3:00-5:30pm. There is a late fee of $1.00 for each minute parents are late picking up their child after closing time. This fee is to be paid in cash. Children will only be released to legal guardians or designated persons as listed on the Emergency Contact Form. Those picking up children must sign them out. Children will not be allowed to go to the parking lot unaccompanied by an adult.

The fee for full time Aftercare is $175.00/month for the first child and $135.00/month for the second. Aftercare is also available on early dismissal days. The program is not available on days that school is not in session. When schools close early, due to inclement weather, or if all after school and evening activities are cancelled by the public schools, there is no Aftercare. Bills are sent out at the beginning of each month. If your child is attending both programs, one bill will be sent for both. Those enrolled in the full time program will be charged the full rate whether they use the program for the entire month or not.

Daily drop-in is also available at a rate of $15 a day per child regardless of how long your child was in attendance. Drop-in is also available on early dismissal days at a rate of $25 per child. Payment is expected in full at the time of pick-up. Please call the school or send a note on the date of an expected drop-in.

A snack and drink is provided each day as a part of our Aftercare Program. Please let us know of any food allergies that your child might have.
