The St. John's School Marketing Committee is comprised of the leaders of the various subcommittees. The Marketing subcommittees are: Advertising, Alumni, Open House, Planning, and Welcoming. Together we strive to improve and promote St. John's School. We also work to help current families feel welcome.

Each subcommittee is open to new members. If you are interested in getting involved in one of these subcommittees, please contact Linda Greer for more information.

Advertising & Recruiting

• The Advertising Committee will work to publicize SJS. Members will contact local newspapers, radio stations, websites, etc. to let others know about what SJS does and offers. The committee will also research ways to promote our school by using decals, yard signs, decor, etc.


• The Recruiting Committee's goal is to bring in new students to SJS. Members will discuss new ideas and ways to engage and attract others to SJS. They will also be responsible for distributing materials that the Advertising Committee creates.

Alumni

• The Alumni Committee will work to reach out to Alumni of SJS. Members will gather information about alums and use that to help promote SJS.

Open House

• The Open House Committee will be responsible for planning a series of Open Houses to "show off" our new school. Ideally 4 Open Houses per year are adequate.

Planning

• The Planning Committee is responsible for creating a Marketing Plan and offering suggestions to the School Advisory Board for implementing new ideas. Topics of discussion include: Mission Statement, Motto, Parent Survey Results, and general discussion about the goals of the Marketing Subcommittees.

Welcoming

• The Welcoming Committee will find ways to be hospitable to new school families. Members will be available to answer any questions and provide information that may be helpful to newcomers.
