2026-2027 Tuition and Fees

Tuition (all grades)                                       $8,720

Notes:

  • There is a $50 application fee per student due at the time of the application.

  • There is  a $100 registration fee per student due at the time of enrollment. Current families who are re-enrolling may receive a discounted registration fee of $75 if they re-enroll by Feb. 23, 2026.

  • Book/Technology fees must be charged separately from tuition to meet requirements for Maryland State textbook funding.  This fee is charged through FACTS when tuition letters are sent out in June. 

  • To receive the Active Worship Discount you must submit the Pastoral Recommendation Form.  It must be submitted no later than March 15, 2026, to the school office, to receive the full active worshipping scholarship tuition rates. If received by April 15, 2026, in the school office, you will receive 75 % of the active worshipping scholarship tuition rate, If received by May 15, 2026, in the school office, you will receive 50 % of the active worshipping scholarship tuition rate. If received by June 15, 2026, in the school office, you will receive 25% of the active worshipping scholarship tuition rate. If we do not receive your form by June 15, 2026, you will not be eligible for this active worshiping scholarship. Classification as an active worshipping scholarship family will remain in effect until June 2027.

Tuition Payments

Tuition rates, conditions, and payment plans are published in the winter for the following school year. Additional school-related expenses may also be applied to your account. All tuition payments are processed through FACTS.  

 

There are four options for tuition payment:

  1. Annual Payment in full

  2. Semester payments: Pay in 2 installments

  3. 10 Monthly payments: includes a one time $50 payment plan fee

  4. 12 Monthly Payments: includes a one time $50 payment plan fee

Active Worshipping Discount
The Active Worshipping Discount of $1,200 per student will be awarded to Catholic families who have met the following criteria:

  1. The student and at least one parent or guardian must be a Catholic in good standing with the Church.

  2. The family must be registered and participating members of a Catholic parish.

  3. Participation means, at the very minimum, that the student must attend weekly Sunday Mass with his or her family at the parish in which they are registered.

  4. Families must supply the Pastoral Recommendation Form.  It must be submitted no later than March 15, 2026, to the school office, to receive the full in-diocese tuition rate. If received by April 15, 2026, in the school office, you will receive 75 % of the in-diocese tuition rate.  If received by May 15, 2026, in the school office, you will receive 50 % of the in-diocese tuition rate. If received by June 15, 2026, in the school office, you will receive 25% of the in-diocese tuition rate. If we do not receive your
    form by June 15, 2026, you will not be eligible for this Active Worshiping Scholarship. Classification as an in-diocese or out-of-diocese family will remain in effect until June 2027.  New School Families please contact St. John’s school office.

Additional Tuition Assistance
Please note that in order to qualify for additional tuition assistance, which includes Pastor’s Tuition Assistance, Comb’s Fund, Monsignor Harris Scholarship, or any other grants, scholarships, or discounts must apply first with FACTS.  Financial Aid applications must be in “Verified” status with FACTS in order for families to qualify for assistance from the ADW and from St. John’s School.  


Applying for Financial Aid does not mean that you will automatically receive it. If applications are not complete or verified, you will not receive any financial aid.
